7K a year We are looking to add a Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence Brokerage Services team in Waukee, IA.

Duties:
Acquire, create, update, and distribute client loss information including, but not limited to:
loss runs, loss summaries, large loss summaries, claims source analysis graphs, loss development triangles and ad hoc loss reports as requested.
Collect, create, update and distribute client workers compensation loss information, including but not limited to:
Experience mod projections, verifications and trending.
Use third party tools for analytics, benchmarking, actuarial reporting.
Understand business data model and generate reports in an analytics and business intelligence platform.
Understand Salesforce data model and generate reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
Provide input and assistance in continuously evaluating and improving processes to gain efficiencies or enhance reports.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have strong analytical, problem solving, communication skills:
both verbal and written and detail oriented.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines and work well within team environment.
Experience with PowerBi, Qlik or similar analytics/business intelligence solutions.
Experience with Salesforce reporting preferred.
Experience with statistical and analytical software preferred.
Basic knowledge of with Property Casualty and/or Employee Benefits insurance principles and terminology preferred.
Ability to perform simple to complex mathematical calculations.
Capable of exercising discretion in confidential matters and use independent judgment.
Ability to work with various personalities and in urgent scenarios.
Must be knowledgeable of and comply with HMA's Client Privacy Policy, HIPAA regulations and E&O procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School equivalency required.
Willingness to pursue industry-related designations/education preferred.
Experience:
Two plus years of office, loss information, or data specialist experience preferred.
Property Casualty insurance background preferred but not necessary.
In-depth knowledge of Excel, other software packages and online systems a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
